Areas of Specialty
-
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, with experience supporting individuals impacted by complex trauma and post-traumatic stress. Trauma can influence emotional regulation, nervous system responses, self-concept, and relationships in subtle and pervasive ways. Therapy focuses on building safety, stability, and flexibility, while supporting clients in understanding how past experiences continue to shape present-day patterns. I also work with individuals navigating the emotional and psychological impacts of motor vehicle accidents and other acute trauma.
-
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, and perfectionism. Therapy focuses on understanding internal pressure and self-criticism, building regulation skills, and creating more sustainable ways of relating to yourself and life’s demands.
-
A central part of my work involves supporting individuals navigating identity, culture, and periods of transition, including young adulthood, career or role changes, and times of uncertainty or redefinition. Therapy offers space to slow down, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and intention. Many of my adolescent and young adults clients seek therapy for support in navigating their intersectional cultural and/or racial identities, and navigating parental and cultural expectations.
-
I support teens (14+) and adults navigating neurodivergence related challenges, including attention difficulties, emotional intensity, procrastination, and self-criticism. Therapy integrates practical strategies with emotional support, recognizing both the skills-based and relational aspects of concerns.
-
I work with individuals navigating a range of relationship concerns, including communication difficulties, attachment patterns, boundaries, conflict, and the emotional impact of relational stress. Therapy offers space to explore how relationships are shaped by past experiences, cultural expectations, and personal values, while developing healthier ways of connecting with others and with yourself.
